I can't believe summer's over already. To help celebrate the new season, our small town had a fall festival called Hay Day. It featured a few arts & crafts tents, a live bluegrass band, and even a tiny petting zoo with all sorts of animals -- a hodge podge of geese, hens, goats, ducks and donkeys all sharing the same small pen. It was a very cool Saturday morning when we went. Before leaving we tried to put Josie in a stocking hat our good friend Lindsey had made for her. But, it was a little small for Josie's head.

When we got there, we made our way to the petting zoo where Josie and Hillary saw all the animals.

Then we found the park and took Josie for a little swing. She absolutely love it!

Then she posed with Mom....

...and Dad.

The morning was very brief, but a whole lot of fun!
