Hillary, Josie and I went to the opening day of the Wisconsin State Fair. The lines were long, even on a Thursday morning. Maybe it was because you could get in for just $2 by making a donation to the local food bank.
It was time to eat not long after we passed through the gates. No food on a stick for us. Instead, we opted for hot dogs and fries. As you can see, Josie is licking the ketchup from her fingers.
It was a hot day. This Clydesdale got hosed down as Josie and I waited for our turn.
You can't really tell from the picture, but this bunny had red eyes. It reminded me of Ghostbusters. But c'mon, it's State Fair and it fits right in.
We saw cows. Josie was a little afraid of them. She wouldn't touch the cows or even leave her stroller while we were in the cattle barn.
Although, she did pose for a quick picture with this fake cow.
After we saw all the animals, it was time for a good old fashioned goat race at the Hogway Speedway.
And Josie's favorite part of the fair was the giant moving robot. She still can't stop talking about it. Seriously.
