One Proud Papa

Yes, I know Father's Day was a couple weeks ago. To all the dads on the blogosphere, Happy Belated Father's Day! Anyways, I'm posting from a while back because I must boast a little about what my darling daughter (with a lot of help from Hillary) made for me on my special day... unbeknownst to me.

Josie's high chair is usually kept inside, but for this special project Hillary moved it to the backyard, and for good reason. That's finger paint on Josie's tray and hands. Hils said it took her a while to comprehend it wasn't food. But can you blame her, she is in her high chair where she usually eats.

At first, Josie is like 'Mom, what are you doing?'

Josie gets used to it after a while. And by the end, she's lovin' it.

And what began as a simple square matte, some finger paint, and an idea...


...turned into something so sweet.

It now hangs on our wall, and will probably stay there for a long time.
