The Great Pumpkin Search

It was nice Wednesday to finally get a break from the rain and cold weather we've had the past couple of weeks. We took advantage of the sunny, 70-degree weather by going to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. Josie was thrilled to go and wear her new sweatshirt -- the one with the pockets.

When we got to the farm, Josie quickly made friends with the goats.

Then her attention changed to about 30 feet in the air.

Josie wanted to go up, unfortunately it was for goats only.

After the goats, we met "Harley" the horse...

...and the cardboard cutout cow.

Still searching for pumpkins, or 'punkins' as the sign reads, Josie sat with the scarecrow. She hated it and immediately asked to be held.

We took a timeout from looking and rested on the swing.

We also had to cross a bridge.

Josie needed another rest, so she sat in Paul Bunyan's chair.

Josie played the role of Mary from Mary Had a Little Lamb, while I was the kid at school.

Finally, the pumpkin patch!!!!

This pumpkin patch was pretty sparse.

Josie pointed out the "messy" one.

Then found a clean one to sit on.

This is last year's picture.

After filing through all the oddities on the farm and looking at the big pumpkins out in the field, The Great Pumpkin Search ended with Josie wanting this mini-gourd from the box back at the entrance. And with that look, how can you not say ok.
