Meeting the 'Yo Gabba Gabba' Gang

If there's one thing you should know about Josie it's this: she is in love with the TV show Yo Gabba Gabba. If you're not familiar with it, it's an odd blend of characters/friends who teach lessons to toddlers through their own life interactions, often singing and dancing. Josie has been the show's best fan since she can remember. She can recite most of their music, and step with every one of their dance beats. Last month we learned they were coming to Milwaukee for a concert, so we bought tickets to see them (which is next Sunday). Then Thursday night, I came across an e-mail saying they were doing a free "meet and greet" at the Gurnee, Illinois, mall. So Friday, we woke up and on a spur of the moment, traveled the 45 miles to see them. Josie was in seventh heaven!

She got to meet all five characters and get her picture with each one! Here she is with Brobee, the little green one.

I was a little star struck myself. Here I am posing with Plex, the magic robot.

When Muno was introduced, he came out and went straight for Josie, giving her a hug and a kiss. They don't call him tall and friendly for nothing. (You might recognize him from the Super Bowl car commercial)

And finally, Foofa. She's pink and happy. Josie gave each of her friends a hug. So sweet!

After meeting the Yo Gabba Gabba gang, Josie didn't want to leave, as can be expected. But once she was in the car and on the road, she was fast asleep - dreaming about the time she had with her TV friends.
